Furikake is a savory Japanese seasoning typically with dried seaweed, toasted sesame seeds, salt, and spices, typically used as a rice seasoning, but it is in fact multi-purpose seasoning, delicious on everything!

This furikake is made with the purple leaves of the red shiso (Perilla spp.) mixed with salt for a tart and salty flavor. Yukari is especially unique because of its striking deep purple hue. The color itself enhances the look and the taste of a dish instantly.
